| American DJ and American Audio to Host Informative Video Mixing Seminar at Las Vegas DJ Show in September
LOS ANGELES – American DJ and American Audio will be shedding
new light on one of the hottest trends when they sponsor Video Mixing
101, an informative round table seminar on this topic at The Las Vegas
DJ Show at 2:30 pm on September 10. Free to anyone attending the show,
the seminar serves up a comprehensive guide to video mixing in a
relaxed, informal atmosphere free of sales pitches.
“This seminar will not be about selling; it will be about sharing knowledge with DJs to help them grow as performers,” said Brian Dowdle, marketing manager of American DJ. “We won’t be plugging specific products at this seminar.” The seminar will be hosted by YouTube teaching star Brian S. Redd, and will feature two DJs with extensive experience in video mixing: former DMC Champion Edgar (DJ Etronik) Bernal and Johnny (Aftershock) Mancilla. These DJs will bring their expertise to the seminar, offering an excellent overview of video mixing, from the basic tips and advice on how to get started, to more advanced skills such as integrating video technology into a performance with teleprompters, timelines and flat-screen monitors, as well as how to identify common pitfalls and how video mixing increases the value of a DJ’s show.
